Going to the dentist had never been my cup of tea until 10 years ago, when, at the recommendation of my best friend, I discovered the Cerec Centar. Boasting a pleasant and friendly atmosphere, state-of-the-art world technology, top-class professional service extended by a team of outstanding dentists, led by Dr. Dejan Lisjak and his partner Dr. Srđan Vuković, this dental clinic has surpassed my highest expectations more than once. Regardless of whether we needed to fix our teeth, undergo prosthetic treatment or dental implant surgery, my wife Dragana and I have always had exceptional experience in the Cerec Centar; the clinic can be compared with the best dental clinics in the countries where we lived and worked. Each time I think of the Cerec Centar, I remember a slogan which I created for a well-known Serbian brand and which would suit the Cerec Centar even better – “Thank you for existing”.

It would take volumes for me to write about my impressions of this dental practice. In truth, this is no longer a dental practice, but rather a polyclinic. My family (my late parents) used to come to this practice since the day of its foundation, when Dr. Lisjak Senior was working alone. Naturally, I myself came here as a patient. In the meantime, there has been a generational shift (in my family and in this practice), but we have remained connected for decades. Now both my children and grandchildren are patients of this clinic, as we know for sure that we are in the best of hands. We have been watching the impressive development of this clinic from the front row. The new generation brought a wave of freshness, enthusiasm and serious professional innovations, including state-of-the-art equipment and procedures. In short – this will remain our dental clinic!

My teeth were seen on TV by millions of people worldwide when I reported for CNN. Teeth are very important to us and need the very best dentists to help us look after them. Dr. Dejan Lisjak happens to be my childhood friend. But it is not by chance that his holistic and human approach (also exhibited by other dentists and dental assistants at the Cerec Centar) has changed and improved me in every sense of the word. They’ve freed me not only from the fear of rotary instruments and pain, but from all other fears and problems after we escape from the dental chair. In a nutshell, they’ve changed my life for the better in every way! Technology is powerful, materials are more and more advanced, but it is the man who is the most important link in the entire process. This is exactly what makes this clinic different from any other and what should be the standard in each profession. They are, above all, human beings, and then - top-class professionals. (It’s a pity that politicians are not bred at the Cerec Centar). To cut a long story short… Now I lough with or without reason. I also laugh at this horror in which we are living. Right in its face! I’d like to thank them for that! I’d like to thank them for everything!

I have always made it my business to go to the best doctors. And I have always striven to have good friends. I have found both in Dr. Dejan Lisjak. Incredible as it may sound, but I like visiting my dentist. I trust him. Besides, I find everyone at this dental clinic very pleasant. Yes, my words sound strange to me too, but that’s exactly how it is.

I doubt that anyone likes going to the dentist, but my children and I gladly go to the Cerec Centar. Their team go out of their way to make us feel safe and, as much as it is possible – relaxed in the dental chair. What largely contributes to this is the ambience of the clinic, which actually doesn’t look like a typical clinic at all. And the music you can hear, to which Dr. Dejan Lisjak devotes particular attention, is especially worthy of mention. Believe it or not, sometimes when I am in the “hot seat”, I realize that in my head I am singing the song coming from the speakerphone! And thanks to Dr. Marijana Vuković, my sons have developed a healthy and good attitude to dentists, because she knows how to welcome them and talks to them in such a way that they feel they are in a playroom, rather than in a dental clinic. This is why they proudly say that they have “the best dentist in the world”!

It was fifteen years ago that I came to the dental practice of Dr. Srđan Vuković at the recommendation of my friends. I had always feared going to the dentist. However, this dental practice has done an excellent job of fixing my teeth and jaw. I would particularly like to underline that I no longer feel uneasy and frightened when visiting my dentist. This is due to the highest level of professionalism and state-of-the-art technology at this dental clinic. But the most important thing is the manner in which Dr. Srđan Vuković approaches his patients. The patient is welcomed to the clinic, treatments are performed in a light-handed, delicate and gentle manner, with the same question constantly asked – does it hurt? The doctor’s look and movements encourage the patient during the entire treatment. In a word, they make you feel pleasant and always have a nice and soothing word for you and a smile on their face; they often make witty remarks about their profession. I come to this clinic without fear and leave it feeling relieved and happy. And everything is better and nicer when we are in a good mood. Good mood is the place where thoughts and life meet. Without it, there are no thoughts or life. Dr. Vuković’s associates – from technicians to professors - are exceptional. All my friends to whom I have recommended this dental clinic are satisfied. Dr. Srđan Vuković has one more gift – he knows how to achieve the highest aesthetic standards, keeping the natural appearance of your teeth.

Sitting in the dental chair has not been traumatic for me over the last fifteen years. I have been visiting the Cerec Centar for a long time now, and I am satisfied with their professionalism and constant technological advancement and investment. I’ve been able to follow the development of the Cerec Centar from the first row all these years. What left a really strong impression on me was when I had a toothache one day and Dr. Dejan Lisjak came to the clinic within minutes in his tracksuit on his day off.
